Known to be 70% Indica and 30% Sativa, Bubba Kush is believed to be the result of a cross between OG Kush and an unknown Northern Lights strain. Since its inception, the genetics has been quite diluted (as with the case with most strains). Before the dilution, this strain was originally referred to as Pre-98 Bubba Kush, signifying its purer genetics. Surprisingly, the newer version of this strain, hits you just as hard and is more readily available.

Aroma

Any pothead can easily recognize the aroma of Bubba Kush. It has a refined smell, similar to that of dark chocolate and coffee. You will also notice some scents of soil, followed by a subtle odor of rubber.
